Why Water Filters?

You can’t be healthy if you don’t consume several glasses of water per day! Water is crucial in our body’s ability to perform the most basic functions. Water therapy has been known to rid the body of toxins, heal, prevent aging and many other benefits.

And, you ask why water filtration is important?

Few people really take this seriously: dehydration slows you down mentally and physically! We must realize about 75% of body is water so it really is KEY to mental and physical activity.

The appearance of a larger body size – which women don’t want is caused by dehydration. Remarkably, the more water you drink, the slower your water retention is. When you are dehydrated, your body tend to hang onto too much water! Additionally, drinking several glasses of clean water daily is what we need to help reduce bloating and prevent recurring kidney stones.

Finally, water is vital in regulating body temperature, transporting nutrients and oxygen to cells, removing waste, cushioning joints and protecting organs and tissues.

Why is too much coffee, tea, soda or alcohol bad for you?

Because they can cause you to expel more water than you should causing you to lose water unnecessarily! On the other hand, water consumed before and between meals can help suppress the appetite!

Because of the above mentioned reasons, ensuring that our family drinks clean water must be a top priority. Unfortunately, most tap water carries some level of pollutants and is not as safe to drink as it once was. You need a quality water filter for drinking and cooking water to remove chlorine, heavy metals, benzene, lead, mercury and bacteria.

A charcoal filter cannot remove the above. What you need is a water filtration system that will help you provide the pure water you and your family need. And just a word of caution, not all water filtration systems are good for you. Be wise. Understand the product and see if it not only protects your family, it must also be harmless to the environment. Here are just some pointers to help you make a decision.

  • Know your needs, is it only for drinking or do you need a shower filter as well?
  • Understand what you need to protect yourself from.
  • It would also be good to have your faucet water tested to find a water filter that specifically targets possible contaminants in your area.
  • Do a consumer research, try to see what most people buy.
  • Warranty is also a consideration. How long do the manufacturers trust that their product will last?
  • Do a background check on the manufacturer. How long have they been in business?
  • Affordability is also a consideration but your family’s health has utmost importance.
